Don't know, but look at the size of that chain drive transaxle.

The hand brake lever looks like it's five feet long.

Mike W has it, this is a 1911 Omaska, perhaps the one and only Omaska built and a very early hybrid. George Downs was a railway traction expert and built this 8 ton monstrosity, It could carry 20 tons. A 6 cylinder Wisconsin engine turned a 20 kilowatt generator that produced 250 volts powering 2 large DC electric motors between the frame rails. Storage batteries were used as auxilary power and increased the power of the generator from 27-1/2 hp to 41-1/4 hp. Thanks to Dan Souday for the photo.
