This is a heavily-modified American Coleman E-62 that originally had an angle snow plow and "V" sander bunker mounted on it during it's work life with the Colorado State Highway Department. It was purchased as surplus and rebuilt by Lynn Kennedy and son Scott Kennedy, who upgraded it with a new engine and extended hood, and then mounted with a heavy-duty wrecker-recovery rig. This truck was featured in ATHS "Show Time" 1999, pg. 70, lettered for Summit Towing, Silverthorne, CO.
While I cannot get to it right away, I am planning a full article on the EH-62 for posting in JOT, to include this wrecker-recovery rig that has turned so many heads over the years.
