Davwingman saves the day. No matter how hard some of these early trucks seem, someone always figures it out. This is an Oldsmobile Motor Delivery Wagon from around 1908 or earlier I think. 1908 was the year that William Durant's General Motors bought Olds Motor Works, and no trucks were built from then to 1918. Thanks to Don MacKenzie for the photo.

So this delivery truck was probably a Ransom E. Olds design.  After GM got hold of the company, Ransom was thrown out.  I don't recall the exact date.  Then he started Reo.

Olds had a disagreement with his financial backers and left Oldsmobile to start Reo in 1904, about 4 years before Durant's GM bought Oldsmobile.

To expand on Jeff's post.
There was a dispute between Ransom E. Olds and the Smiths who had    controlling interest in the Olds Motor Works in 1904. Olds beloved curved dash design was    going to be phased out and more luxury models would be produced.. Olds opposed    this plan so he left and began plans to build a car of his own across town from the    Oldsmobile factory in Lansing, MI. After disputes with the Smiths about the name of his    company, he used is initials, REO, and the Reo Motor Car Company was in business
