With Brocky -- 1926 Corbitt Fire Truck

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

Brocky has it, this is a 1926 Corbitt fire truck, said to be the only fire engine ever built by Corbitt. Of course we know that Oren built fire trucks on Corbitt chassis in the early '50's, but I think what is meant here is that this fire truck was built entirely by Corbitt and is the only one they did. "Ordered and built according to government specs for a hospital for the insane in", where else, "Washington DC". You couldn't make this up and have it be any better. Thanks to John Dameron for these photos he took at the Colfax Virginia show.

You don't need a parachute to skydive you only need a parachute to skydive twice.
