Another make I have not heard of but in agreement with Bill & Clyde--- LANGE ---
Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!
I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

It's a good day to agree with Bill White, as are most days. This truck is a 1915 Lange, shod with Goodyear's newfangled pneumatic tires. Lange trucks were built from 1911 to 1931 in Pittsburg Pennsylvania. One to two ton models were built, and a 3-1/2 tonner was added later. By the 1920's Lange was using Continental engines. Our WAI photo is from the Goodyear Collection at the University of Akron. The other photo is from Don MacKenzie.

Jeff, this one was a learning curve for me! I knew I had seen this photo on the Univ. of Akron site, but by the time I could find it someone had already posted -- and I had a good pic of Jessica Lange to put up in my post!! Well here are the only other LANGES I could find on the net --
