Just a quick update on this...  A friend of mine had the exact bracket I was looking for.  It came off of a 671 he removed from a fire truck.  He let me borrow it for reference.  The number on the bracket is 80204-008 and the adjustment arm is 80206-009.  But on the back of the bracket the crayon written number is 80204-007.  Looks like they were made by White Trucks.  I am going to fabricate my own brackets using these for reference...

Yes, that's definitely an OEM bracket, NOT Detroit................but I have a NOS DD bracket that might work and keep your belt grove in line with the crank pulley.

I am trying to locate this style alternator bracket for a 671 Detroit.  It's for the driver side and believe it's off of a mid 80's White/GMC but not 100% sure.  It's hard to read the casting numbers but they may be B0204-0008.  That's not a typical Detroit number (in my experience...)  Does anyone have any leads?

Thanks,

Tom
