Pretty much all of the above are correct. This tram was used at Mount Hood Oregon and was built by the Pacific Bus division of Kenworth, It began operation about 1950 and was used to travel to the Timberline Lodge at 6000 ft altitude. This Skyway was powered by twin 185 hp engines and was not a great success. Below is a link to an article and video about the tram.
