On Memorial Day we thank those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, and their families. Always remember.

This is a rare halftrack. Photo from Don MacKenzie.

Autocar it is. This is the 1943 T17 3/4 track prototype. A second T17 was built by White, but there were noticeable differences in the front fenders and side armor. Both T17's were powered by White's horizontally-opposed 12 cylinder engine first used in buses in the 1930's This military version put out 210 hp at 2800 rpm, and 500 ft lbs of torque at 1200 rpm. Davwingman had this first. Thanks to Don MacKenzie for the photo.
