A little late, but...
If you're still puzzling, I have a 62 Lipe=Rollway catalog that lists the 44-53 260XW and later models with the 572 taking 150-1-466 Cover plate ...'bly. and 150-6-063 driven disc ...'bly...
That section has a note that vehicles built  with cover ...'bly 150-1-528 can be serviced with 150-1-466...

My guess would be the composition of the lining on the disc.    Recall the standard might be ferramic...........and a heavy duty might have some sintered iron in it .   Then there was "Velvetouch" lining .   No ceramic pads back then that tear up your flywheel .....and your pressure plate .

I am working on a 46 260XW Brockway that my Dad years ago.  This has the 572 Continental in it along with a Fuller 5A620 trans with a. 15” clutch.  When he bought it he was told the clutch was stuck.  I was able to get it running and wound up pulling the trans.  Turn out the clutch is shot and there is no tag on it.  All the shims are gone the linkage was adjusted as short as it could be.  I pulled the trans out of a part truck today. (50 260XW) and it turns out that clutch is shot too, but at least there is a number on it, 150-1-466.

According to the Brockway info I have, the clutch should be either a 150-1-295 or 150-1-465.  Is there any way to tell what the difference between the numbers are?  Below is a page from the Brockway literature I have...http://forums.justoldtrucks.com/uploads/images/b9302306-14cc-462c-bca6-a79.jpeg
