Thanks for the compliment
I'm not sure which way to go with it. The most useful thing would be a deck, recessed 2 and 5/16 inch 5 th wheel. This way I could put a 2000 gallon water tank on the deck or the tank could be lifted off and you could haul a stock trailer or deck trailer. Basically the truck could be used like a super dodge Cummins or duramax Chevy. I just don't think its going to look right with a deck and big poly water tank. A modern deck just doesn't seem right.
I could just restore it. Example new airlines, tires, etc. Put the original 5 wheel back on. Maybe a headache rack, fix up the steering but the truck would not be as useful as it would be with the deck.
See with a deck and carrying the weight I can go places ( mud, snow, hills) that I can't go dragging a trailer behind.
Another thing that could be done is 4 wheel drive. Think 2.5 ton Rockwell's,all gear divorced transfer case off off of a versatile tractor. Then put a bale handler on back. Talk about a super ranch truck! But I think its just wrong to tear into this truck.
International is currently making a small truck that would be perfect. Problem is I'm sure its all plastic and electronics. It probabally costs a gazillion dollars. Plus I don't like the looks of them. They look the same as all the other junk that everybody is currently making.

Yes, Nice KW, I would go with a short deck and recessed gooseneck ball. What size tray length would suit 10 -12ft. ?

Its 10.5 feet from the back of the cab to the end of the frame rail,so probabally an eleven foot deck would be about right so that you could still use a gooseneck trailer behind it.
