Don't know about today but it used to be one single was cheaper than a set of duels. The big expense was if you had to buy wheels too

Well she is bought and home.  Pretty lukewarm on those steer tires and wheels.  I have 2 guys that want them so they will go in trade for some regular Alcoa's and good tires.  Pretty tight but has a bit of a rust issue with the rear cab panel.  All flat stuff so shouldn't be that hard to replace.  The miles are less then 220k total since the gearing change a few years back it has fallen a little behind.  It had 3.55's in it with a locker in the rear axle.  It has sat a lot.  Built in summer of 85 in Newark.

I need to reprogram the dip switches accordingly to go from 5.29s or whatever they were to 3.55's.    Most it has pulled is about 10k the past 8 years.
More pictures coming tomorrow.   In the meantime you can see all I have so far here:

5th wheel installed and everything looks like it clears OK.  We have a bracket made up I am going to put the air and electrical connections.  We are putting a trap door in the top of the drom platform ahead of the folding section with a hinge.  We don't know who made that drom but it was pretty handy for the previous owner.  He came home with 4 pallets of brick on it for home projects for him.  All the bolts on the side, we re-used existing holes so they were all filled.  Looks like my B&W socket will also work to run a goose ball or my RV 5th wheel.

New bumper installed.  Ended up trading off the drom for a smaller tandem equipment trailer back to the Pete's old owner.  Long story short, cash and trailer bought the truck, drom got the trailer back.

Found another pristine drom that didn't have the hinged section or window opening for pretty cheap.  It is 80's vintage it appears so it should look right on the truck.  May put a window hole in it.  Wish I could get the photo posting to work.
