Brocky (3/31/2021) What an interesting picture!!! I am a country boy, In the big cities did banks have a mobile office?? On a schedule?? To service the people who now use branch offices.. When I worked in a large factory in the early '60s we were paid in cash. A armored truck would come with two two guys and a cart. They'd load the cart with pay envelopes for each department and bring it in on the plant floor where we'd stand in line to sign for them. The envelope was our receipt for the IRS.

Thanks Tony, The only times I got paid cash it was "Under the Table", and I started paying Social Security at age 15..

Brocky (3/31/2021) Thanks Tony, The only times I got paid cash it was "Under the Table", and I started paying Social Security at age 15.. They did it that way so you could stop at the pub on your way home and pay your weekly lunch tab.
