This is what road building was like in 1920. Emblem removed.

Agree with Kelly-Springfield

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

It's unanimous, with Brian Kelly leading the way. This truck is a late 'teens Kelly-Springfield. This truck is actually quite large, perhaps a 5 tonner, as illustrated by the huge steering wheel. In the rear view it looks quite massive. This photo was taken in 1920 and illustrates just how difficult it was to build a road in the early years. Photos from the Goodyear Collection at the University of Akron. The restored Kelly-Springfield is in the Hays Museum and is a 1914 K40 3 ton model.
