I missed seeing that there is support for the right side via the casting.  I would still fab or find the upper support that goes between the stud and the cam lever pivot at the top depending on the direction of pull.

As Jim says you already have the stud.

you just need a cross shaft with a couple of leaver arms on it to transfer the motion.

Have a stud (white circle) for a brace and the other brace is bolted in this example.  Helps stabilize the right side of the brake band because it is just floating.

Wish I knew what the missing part looks like for the 3000.

Sorry about all of the oddly rotated shots, uploading form the iPhone is not straight forward it seems. A jack shaft would definitely do it, however we can seem to determine where on the frame or transmission it may mount. There is only one stud with hole for a retainer pin the the right side of the transmission which we could use but aside from that where we could either mount linkages or fabricate something to do the job.

Miss Debbie is quite the good looking truck! What year is that one?

I think you are missing a jackshaft that bolts to the frame and transfers motion of the brake rod to the brake cam.
