Daryl Gushee`s 1963 Oshkosh
The story goes this was originally an airport plow truck. I purchased it from a man in New Hampshire who used it for several years under contract with the state of Massachusetts plowing interstate highways.
Taken the day Jack and I went to New Hampshire to pick it up.
This photo was taken after a cab off restoration.
At this point the doors have not been lettered.
Shown with a new retrofit, was an 11' worm gear angle blade.
Surplus state of Maine issue.
Now It`s a 14' hydraulic power blade with 18" foil.

Here the Oshkosh has the new door insignia.
Sitting in front of Paul Bunyon the big Oshkosh is feeling a little small.
A different angle shows Jack Gushee standing on a curb to look taller.
Is Paul Bunyon doing the same thing?
No wonder the Oshkosh looks small.
