Agree with Jack -- KLEIBER

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

Jack Amaral has it again, these sweet confections are being hauled by a Kleiber built in the 'teens. Kleiber trucks were built not too far from where this photo was taken in San Francisco. Kleiber and Company was started in San Francisco in 1914 by Paul Kleiber, building trucks from 1-1/2 to 5 tons. Continental engines were used. Prices in the late 'teens ranged from $2600 to $5600. The last Keliber was built in 1937. Paul Kleiber died in 1938. Thanks to Sven Bengston for the Ghirardelli photo, Dan Souday for the color photo from the Hays Museum, and George Murphy for the ad.
