Thanks for posting those John, in the H-S 590 advert, I guess the around 600 c.i.d. competitor gas engine was a Continental R6602.

That's a great article John, thanks for posting it. Too bad that Sterling is not as good looking at the Hall-Scott V12 Kenworth. I would love to have seen them both pulling a grade.
