Federal, 1935
In the description of the picture it says:
"Extra wide cab was custom built. Rear of the front seat was hinged so it lifted up and hooked onto chains, making 2 single beds. Used to take a load of produce to market and then have a sleep before returning. "

May be an image of outdoors and text that says 'Corbitt Preservation Association 27BT Sleeper Tractor and Machine Trailer 1939 WS.Corbitt Collection'
Thank you.
This picture was posted by my friend Kenneth Stegall! He, along with my other friend Mike Lusher, are doing a superb job. They are revealing the history of Corbitt. I can't think of any other group where people are more enthusiastic about revealing the history of the company. Even the communities of giants Kenworth, International, Mack and others can't boast of such people. I really want to be wrong, but so far I haven't come across such informative groups on the history of truck manufacturing companies. To my friends Kenneth and Mike, I wish you well and good luck in finding interesting facts about Corbitt's history.

Nice Truck!

Looks like door handles on the back so possibly a crew cab as well as a sleeper?

Leyland Bison TSG1 (1931) It may be a loader's compartment, but there's plenty of room for the driver to rest.
