Yes, this is a Federal, but not just any old run of the mill Federal. This very interesting photo shows a Federal Big Six, but the image is dated 1925. This is a year before Federal is credited with introducing their 1st six cylinder truck. The license plate on the truck is a 1924 dealers tag, so the date is most likely correct and this truck is a very early six cylinder demonstrator, perhaps even a prototype. The photo was taken in Hollywood and is part of the Dick Wittington Collection at USC. Jack Amaral had this 1st.
