Upon further evaluation, I'm in with the IH guys.

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

A big west coast hauler like this is surely a Kenworth, Moreland, Kleiber, or even a Sterling, right ? Nope, Bill wasn't fooled, this is an International, probably an A-6, the largest model in the medium lineup at the time. This photo was taken in the Belyea yard in Los Angeles in 1932. Notice the heavy fishplating on the frame, and the tag axle, common features on '20's and '30's west coast trucks. Our WAI photo is from the Dick Wittington Collection at USC. The 1933 A-6 is owned by David Qualls and was taken at the Huntsville show. The 1934 A-4 is owned by Joe Dean and was photographed at Springfield.
