Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

I am thinking that this is a Ford AA with a Thornton tandem conversion kit. There were other tandem conversions as well that drove both rear axles, I think, but I can't name another one. Thornton built conversions for Chevy as well. Probably could be adapted to whatever.
There is a restored Ford from somewhere either side of WWII out there that I've seen in CT with a Thornton conversion.

Most everyone is right, this is a west coast Ford AA with Langlois tag axle conversion. While there were some twin screw conversions being done, I do not believe Langlois was doing them in 1930. Could be wrong though. Our photos are from the Dick Wittington Collection, and Wittington listed Langlois as the customer for the Kelly Pipe photos. The rear photos are a Chevrolet with a Langlois "Jumbo" tag axle conversion in 1930. Bill White had this first, apparently Daryl didn't jinx him tonight.
