Went to an auction preview in Adams, NY last April with Ernest Portner, that was shut down when prices were falling short of expectations, some of these trucks were not included so may still be there, five Walters, including an ex-Onondaga County double wing plow, an ex thruway authority Walter missing engine with double wing hoist assembly, and a very nice ex-Watertown unit, a couple of one ways and v plows..plus a Sno-go unit. H ehad some old Fords including the front of a COE 1939? with Frink gear, a 1946? Ford and GMC trucks with Frink plow gear (no plows). I still can't upload pics, so I've put them on my Linn Tractor Trailer & Van page over on facebook.

PS I was told there is a nice old big wheeled Oshkosh down in a yard in Warwick in case anyone is interested.

Thanks, I'll pass it on, fair price I'd say, problem is these are a little thirsty for a work truck. I like that $400 Ford dump truck in MA too but no room/time/place for it, a guy out in Ithaca has a pair of Allis Chalmer M crawlers he's going to scrap ASAP for Christmas money if he can't get $2000 obo. There is a big Bombardier marsh tractor (1950's) up in Taberg for $4500 they say is restored, and I still have a Cletrac EG42 I havn't brought home to repower yet, and I have the 1930 FWD. Right now I'm trying to unload vintage VW parts without having to haul them all for scrap, but they are problem going in the bin too. I hate scrapping stuff. But at least it's not American.

Just curious what type of Big Wheeled Oshkosh it might be! I am in search of an old Oshkosh Earthmover from the 30's. That would be awesome if it is an earthmover!

Mack-------When I posted that to Rene on Dec 8th, I had just talked to the owner and confirmed it was still available then . Drop a dime in the telephone and let us know . I had 1st heard about it at the LaGrange Engine show in late September and advertized it in our NEO Chapter newsletter Nov/Dec issue.
