Will go along with the Ford chassis and a WAG of Boyertown on the body.. A neat rescue, personal carrier, and on scene command center for its era.

1958 Dodge step-van/Bruco 350/200

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

George Murphey has this, our WAI truck is a 1958 Dodge with fire service equipment installed by Bruco of Altoona, Pennsylvania. The body may be Boyertown, or at least borrows heavily from Boyertown, but all the information available on this truck identifies it as a Bruco-Dodge. This truck was built for the Frostburg, Maryland fire department in 1958 and replaced a 1953 Dodge step van equipment truck. The Bruco-Dodge served until 1986, when it was replaced and donated to the Rawlings Volunteer FD. Thanks to Bill White for the WAI photo, and Jesse Walter for the others plus some info and a link. Last photo is the '53 Dodge. More info on the Frostburg FD here :
