Flirting with Federal - but that doesn't seem quite right - so my guess is Reo.

Hamish is on top today, this truck is a 1936 Oldsmobile. There have been several versions of Oldsmobile trucks since the curved dash days, but the last "real" old truck was built in 1924. These new Oldsmobile trucks were produced between 1936 and 1939 for export only. They were actually Chevrolet or GMC's with different trim, grillework, and emblems. They were powered by the same six cylinder engine used in Olds passenger cars. These trucks were only marketed in Great Britain, Holland, and Australia. Thanks to Bill White for the photo. The truck in the color photo is in the Bill Richardson Collection and was sent to me quite some time ago by Mike W.

Hamish, I like your new handle. Are there any Fageols in N.Z. ?
