This is quite a beast. How many trucks do you see here ? Emblem removed. Photo from "oldpierce" Karl Krouch Sr.

Neil's Automotive Service gets creative with a Mack/Brockway cab. It sort of looks like it is cabover cab with the way the corners round in and the shape of the windshield glass.

Very interesting.

This really is a beast, there are pieces from at least 3 different trucks here, and I can't say that I know what they all are. THe cab is from an F model Mack and has been narrowed. The chassis is from 2 different trucks, the rear spliced on top of the front. The rear chassis is not GMC but looks to be from a 1950's Studebaker or Reo M34 6x6, with the front end from the same. The hubs are different from the GMC CCKW or M211. But the front chassis is a mystery to me, although I suspect it may be from the same truck that donated the cab. Thanks to Kark Krouse Sr. for this brain buster.

We were on a Pierce Arrow tour last month, in western Michigan, when the temp guage on our 30 sedan indicated it was time to stop and add a little water. Niel's just happened to be the spot. I have been having fun this year looking at this thread and quickly decided I never saw a truck like this one. I snapped a few photo's and sent them in for discussion. Jeff was quick to tell me it was not close to leaving the Mack factory looking like this, I found the front mounted crane on the dropped front axle odd as well. There was not any sign of a possible use for this truck at Niel's auto. This part of Michigan is one of the Blueberry capitals with miles and miles of them. I don't know if this was built for some type of irrigation pipeline repairs? They were in use everywhere. Karl
