Forgot the attachments. They're there now.

1939 Arizona plates. I think this version of COE, with the curve in the bottom of the door and the wide bumper, is '39-40 only.

This is the next version, '41-7, with no curve in the bottom of the door. This company is still in business and these pictures are from their website.

I think these are both Joe Wanchura pictures. Bigger versions on Flickr here and here.

Bump to the top with this Swiss K100 now being restored by its operator, Friderici, which - unusually for Europe - had a fleet of KW and with DD engines, too. They use to run the Europe to the Middle East route which was as tough as anything. Pic by Ferdy De Martin.

Forgot about "Orrin" Isn't "Kidd" his brother? I wondered what ever happened to that project, I remember John had it all tor apart, then since back then I was running hard, not much time for "lurking", I lost track of Orrin, and the truck!

whole bunch of scrap iron! some actually runs! Most just eat money and take up space in my yard

Still here occasionally fella's, keeping an eye on ya. KW is still going well, love driving  that truck. We have upgraded the sign writing and lining, so here's a super flash picture of what it looks like currently.
Latest resto. project is a 950 RS Diamond T which I had pics. of on here a few months back, it arrived just before Christmas and we are into it now.
John was right about the earlier days, we had a good thing going then. I'll catch up with some of you in May in Iowa. Had a note from Orrin this week, remember "Big Blue" , sends his regards to you all.

I knew I had another picture of Murray's truck, with a set of log trailers.

Somebody must have hooked that set for a picture. Even a short set of triples wasn't allowed on the Thruway except for some tests that were done.

Bill: I assume this ran on the NY Through-way, although I never knew of fullsize triples back in that day.  Glee

I heard from Murray last month.. He is working on a postwar SC 404 snub nosed Diamond T and was looking for parts.
