I don't know if this is the same truck. Same truck number but different font, same ICC plate number but one number off on the California plate. The middle plate is Arizona '41 in the above pictures and Arizona '42-4 on these pictures.

Tony, are you related to the guys that founded Bullard Machine Tool Company?

Yep, I grew up in the factory and left in the mid '60 to do my own thing.

Man, that is cool.  I used to run Series D Mult-Au-Matics.  Some were original (manual).  Others had been retrofitted with electric controls for the chuck, brake, index, and clutch by Schulze and Burgess.  Those had Prab pick-and-place robots in front of them.
I also did a LOT of maintenance work on those.  Amazing machines, as long as you kept them adjusted correctly.
Also spent a little time on a Man-Au-Trol.  Big VTL with the "piano wire" trip dogs on it.  We also had one at another facility retrofitted with an early CNC control.  I believe that one started out as a Dyna-Trol.  They renamed it the Dyna-Tape after it was retrofitted.
That's quite a legacy your family built.  They were true trend-setters back in the day.  You've got a heritage there you can be proud if.  Those machines were vital to the war effort in WW2.  Some of the guys I worked with had used Mult-Au-Matics to turn road wheels for tanks in those days.
I used to work out of a manual just like this one somebody is selling on eBay.
Small world...

Rick and his wife are doing fine, she always volenteers at the convention and he runs around taking pictures for large car, I saw them at last years convention and sometimes they even make it out to Brooks Oregon for that show, I'm sure they'll be at Springfield this year.
I talk to Dennis every couple weeks and he'll be at Sprongfield this year also.
You need to get out more Tony.

Aaron:
I haven't seen your other cousin, Dennis Beauchesne, and his '47 Ford either in in few years. Maybe I don't get out as much anymore.
