Yepper --- Walker Electric

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

Sure looks like Walker to me. Not too many "milk ladies" back then.

Once again it is unanimous for Walker Electric. This is a circa 1940 Walker owned by the Supplee-Wills-Jones Milk Company of Bryn Mayr, Pennsylvania. Our photo was taken in 1943, when most of the  milkmen were off at war. Just like Rosie the Riveter, the ladies filled in on just about every job imaginable, including delivering milk. Ironically, the Walker Electric company did not fare as well, going out of business in 1942. Mike inw had this 1st. Our photos are all from Shorpy's.
