Franklin Motor Car Company

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

Yes, this is an air cooled Franklin. This is a 1919 photo from Shorpy's. Our paddy wagon looks to be at least a few years older than that, although still in pretty good shape. 1920 was the last year for Franklin trucks after building them since 1905. They continued to build air cooled automoibiles until 1932. We ran a very similar Franklin in the WAI just a few weeks ago but this photo was so nice I just couldn't resist using it. George had this 1st. Our other photos are 1908-1910 models from Dan Souday.
