Pretty sure I could lay my hands on a Stanley boiler tomorrow................I don't think your going to find a Fageol cab around these woods.
Anyway, I'm 100% with you Kevin and Rick. For whatever that's worth.

Apparently the guy had the rolling chassis and running gear but no cab.

I think Fageol cab would be a lot easier to find than a Stanley boiler. I have seen several cabs and many Fageol trucks but not one Stanley boiler in my 79 years.

WoW!  That is a great find.

Sort of like finding a spare Stanley steamer boiler kicking around.

This post just popped up on Facebook.  A guy working on a Fagaol who needed a cab.  Junk dealer came by and thought he had one, sure enough he did and now they guy has a cab to work from.

Facebook can't be the forum and will never be a replacement for it or here at JOT.  But it can be something you can generate interest and recruit from.  You just have to look at it as very surface topical and not a lot of meat.  But it does get people excited and motivated.  A lot of people are going from FB to aths.org according to the stats.  A lot of people go back and forth from here to the between here and the ATHS forum.  I have to be an ogre over there on Facebook from time to time but generally the cretins weed themselves out after a little while.

I agree with what Wayne and others said. I have nothing against the ATHS Facebook Page and other truck pages on Facebook but I do not think information there is as reliable as JOT or when the forum on ATHS was busy. There are some nice pictures on Facebook though, good luck on getting any technical help there like on this forum or others like it BigMackTrucks,Classic White Truck Group,Brockway Site. I also believe the paper version of WOT keeps many members renewing their membership.Joe D.
