This street flusher was state of the art in its time. Emblem removed. Photo from John Algood.

I agree with Hamish -- Autocar

Trucks, give me trucks!!! --- I'M LIKING TRUCKSWhen we see what we want to see, and hear what we want to hear---- all too often we miss the point!

I'm where I'm at when I'm all there! But,when I'm here, how can I be all there?

I'm surprised that only two folks ventured a guess at this one, but both Hamish and George are right. This well equipped street flusher is a 1920's Autocar engine under the seat model. This truck was employed by the City of Salem, Massachusetts. Thanks to John Algood for this photo.
