John, that is a very unusual cab on the IH in the rear, I don't recognize it.

Ron up until maybe the mid 1980,s believe it or not Chevrolet was a leading contender on log trucks here  tandem axle big gaspot and 5x4 trans. We have a lot of hardwood here mostly oak but hickory, ash and cherry. Now most everyone runs tri axle log trucks with pickers.

Ron we did not have many KW's and Petes in the northeast part of US until about the mid 1970's. Motor Truck in Carlisle or Harrisburg,Pa and a dealer in NJ.About the only guys that ran them were the guys running the Coast for the most part. Now I think the biggest seller of construction spec trucks in my area is KW,Mack lost its foothold on dump trucks and lowboy tractors here. IH Western Star and Freightliner have good dealerships but cannot compete with KW sales.Pete is building a dealership in my area.
