Yes this is a Dodge, and it turns out this is a much rarer model than I realized. Our fire truck is on a 1937-38 Dodge 3 ton chassis. The 3 ton models had unique styling and did not look like any other models in the Dodge lineup. Dodge did build a 4 ton model, but these were all Airflows. According to Bill White these 3 tonners are very scarce. Had I known that I would have taken more than one photo ! Tillerman had this 1st. The ad is from Bill White.
