Brocky (2/10/2023) Hamish (2/7/2023) Does anybody on JOT have experience of Velvet Ride suspension? Don't know of any White trucks with it in New Zealand-may have been some in Australia. Hamish, In the winter of 69-70 I drove a White 4000, 250 Cummins, 10 sp RR, with velvet ride, air ride seat, hauling petroleum from Syracuse NY to the St. Lawrence river valley. I cannot say much about the ride as I came out of a '65 coupe cab 4000 with a solid seat. The one thing that did impress me was that with the rears locked it would go thru snow almost up to the headlights.. NO Wheel Hop!!!!!!
Thanks Brocky.
