It's a good day to agree with Jack Amaral, this truck is indeed a 1920's Sterling DW model, probably from around 1926-27 as the pic was taken in 1928. This truck has a few unusual features, most noticably the lack of the radiator guard seen on nearly every Sterling from the 1920's. It is also unusual that this truck had hard rubber tires (on wood wheels no less), as it was owned by the Goodyear Tire Company who were heavily promoting pneumatic tires. And as Glee pointed out, the trailer mounting is very unusual, it looks like a modern gooseneck hitch on a pickup. The last 2 pics are from 1929 and show a very similar Sterling testing what may have been the world's largest tire at the time. These photos are from the Goodyear Collection at the University of Akron
