This truck is being auctioned in Nebraska. Here's a 2009 article when it was still in Canada. This style of COE came out in 1940 and this picture was taken in '41 so it's not a '37.

The Diamond T in John's photo has a long wheel base so I think it is a 975 with the front axle replaced. It undoubtedly was originally a 6x6, one of the 4 ton 6x6 DT's built as the 967 (very early cargo truck), 968 (cargo truck) 969 (wrecker), 970 (longer cargo truck), 972 (dump truck). The 975 is a long wheelbase version built for Canada.
The DT at Macungie is a 981 6x4 tank transporter with a Hercules diesel. It is owned by the Wheels of Liberation Collection in New Oxford, PA. There seems to be a little confusion about this truck as it has a 980 front bumper but the data plate says it is a 981.
