Will go along with the White. A municipal one set up for a snow plow with the high mounted headlights.

Well I'll say Mack (just to buck the trend) and I'll guess a Cook Bros. trailer (later in life would have been Challenge-Cook).

White, 1934 first version of styled cab before the Safronosky cab later in 1934. That cab survived though in special models in the late 30s. Short hood would be a 718, but I didn't think they'd have air brakes.

Majority rules, this is indeed a White. Bruce says it is a Model 718 and that sounds good to me. The 700 series Whites were introduced in late 1933 and continued in this style through 1935 until the famous Alexis de Sakhnoffsky styled models were introduced. White did continue to use this cab on some low production models, most notably the 4 ton Model 950 military 6x6's built in '39'-40. Our WAI truck has the construction style fenders seen more often on later models. It is pulling an AW spreader. Brian Kelly had this 1st by a minute. Thanks to John Algood for the WAI pic. The only other photos I have of Whites with the construction fenders are later models, as is this one from Don MacKenzie. The ad for a 1934 Model 712 is from my collection.
