Wall Spreader trucks seemed like a very localized truck. I've seen a few at trucks shows and for sale in local truck magazines. I'm not even sure if the company is still in business. I was able to get the above ad from a Tri County Contractors Supply book from the 90s.

This photo was taken from a truck trader ad. The truck was used by a landscape contractor in Mass.

Here's an old photo of the original style of spreading sand or cinders (Walter truck of course). This is from the Pa Turnpike in the early '40's. Any other pictures of sanding the old fashioned way are certainly encouraged to be shared. Enjoy!

I wasn't sure where to post this photo, but it is of a trailer/friction drive salt spreader at the Kemp sale. The second one is a Sterling that has the bar setup for attaching a spreader. Bshoesey
