They also had V549 Harvester gas available. Have found parts listed under Dodge for this engine.

I did some contract work now and then for a paving outfit back in the 70's and 80's that ran a fleet of those swing fender Dodges that were powered with Cummins 855's and 903's...engine mechanic's nightmare.

Be careful when you follow the MASSES......sometimes the "M" is silent.

I have worked on these with 855 cummins in them. You could see the engine but was hard to reach it.

Yellow paint under the white, suggests it was a refualer truck for the military. Likely had a 555 Cummins in there.

Spotted this one today, don’t know much about it.
