Geoff that is one of the WW2 military Dodges, either the 3/4 ton WC51/52 4x4 or WC62/63 6x6. However the steering wheel is not original, or at least the center isn't, and I don't know what it is from, perhaps a newer military vehicle.

My '42 (made in late '41) has the exact same wheel and turnsignal switch.. I have been told that vehicles made for the military (ww2) vintage all had the non-stock (civil type) wheel. I don't know, but I am looking for another. I'll say one thing, they lasted alot better then the OEM has.Comment

IDK, I still haven't managed to release the horn button to find out! Compared to the wheel on my '48 this one has aged much better, almost no defects in the 80 some odd years. It is why I am looking for one to replace the OEM one on the '48, which is down to the metal in some places and the horn button is gone.Comment
