    Jim, Very Good!! When he said that the first Autocar was the oldest I cannot remember the years on Tim Hoovers Autocars??

      I think Tim's are in the 1920's but I would have to look up the trucks to be sure. He may have some earlier ones that I haven't seen.

      Either way, it is pretty impressive that 100 year old trucks are still out and about!

      Will a 2023 Gogomobile truck still be going in 100 years? With all the sensors, wiring, plastic and crap, I doubt it.


      I thought the quad cab Autocar was very interesting!

        The 1909 Autocar is the one that used to be owned by the late Ted Valpey Jr. That guy has quite the collection, the '41 Autocar phone service truck is something else !

        I think Tim Hoover's oldest Autocar is a 1921.

              I'll never forget the grin on the young man’s face and enthusiasm as he backed the Autocar into position. He was so proud to be part of the event. It was nice to see the younger generation be so involved.

            Tony, that was most likely Andy Buchman, who was employed by Ted and did most of his restoration work.
