  • Mack trucks

This truck began life as a Mack NO model 6x6. The big Thermodyne gas engine was replaced with a GM 6.71 and the front drive axle was replaced with a non-driving Timken axle. Later the truck was converted to a COE with shop built cab.

These pictures and the Westcoaster in Pennsylvania picture are from the National Archives. This one also has 1948 Pennsylvania New Car Dealer plates. I guess the government was testing west coast trucks. Hall-Scott powered.

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

                R797RSX with a pretty good load-Marion 111M crane/excavator.

Might as well make this a trifecta with a third B755 with the rear ends tucked right under.

                              1964 Mack B-755 Mack V8 power.
